How to Design Custom Soccer Jerseys and Football Kits

Updated 15 October 2026 · By Salman Munawar, Founder, Ravix Pro Industry

Quick answer: To design a custom football kit, choose your club colours and pattern, place the crest and sponsors, pick a fabric, then approve a mock-up and sample before ordering names and numbers.

Whether you call it a soccer jersey in the USA or a football kit in the UK, the product is the same: a lightweight, full-colour shirt, shorts and socks that represent your club. This guide covers everything a coach, club secretary or league organiser needs to order custom kits that look sharp and last the season.

Quick answer

Custom soccer jerseys and football kits are usually made from 100% polyester mesh or interlock (about 120–160 GSM) and fully sublimated, so any design, colours, sponsors, names and numbers are printed into the fabric and will not crack or peel. A full kit includes jersey, shorts and socks. At Ravix Pro the MOQ is 30 pieces per design, with different names and numbers allowed, and delivery is typically 4–6 weeks after design approval.

Embroidered crest Premium replica shirts Excellent; heavier and warmer

More detail in sublimation vs screen printing.

Sizing: youth and adult

Most club orders mix youth and adult sizes. Collect sizes with a size chart, not by age, and order a size set sample if you are unsure. A practical tip from our factory floor: order one or two spare kits in common sizes for new players during the season.

Names, numbers and sponsors

  • Send a roster spreadsheet with name, number and size per player.
  • Check your league’s rules on number size, placement and colour contrast before approving.
  • Sponsor logos should be supplied as vector files.
  • With sublimation, each player’s name and number is printed at no extra setup cost.

Cost and lead time

Price per kit depends on the number of pieces (shirt only vs shirt, shorts and socks), quantity and extras like embroidered crests. Plan 10–12 weeks before the season for new designs: about 1 week for mock-ups, 1–2 weeks for samples, 2–4 weeks for production and up to 1 week for air delivery. See lead time.

From our factory floor in Sialkot

At Ravix Pro Industry we have manufactured sportswear since 2008. Every order follows the same 11 steps: quote, design, approval, sample, cutting, decoration, stitching, thread trimming, quality check, packing and door-to-door shipping. Sublimation, screen printing, embroidery and stitching happen in-house, so we control colour, print quality and timing ourselves. The most common problem we see with first-time buyers is skipping the sample; a physical sample costs a little extra but prevents expensive surprises in bulk. See our manufacturing process and quality checks.
